| broken social scene kicked my ass |

instead of a new york city cop kicking their ass, broken social scene kicked mine last night ... such a great show. feist was on stage with them most of the night which was great ... and the new female singer (lisa?) was fantastic. 9-10 ppl on stage average ... made for a tasty viewing and listening treat. we went upstairs to get a better view and the band was just wicked good. i caught everything i wanted to hear except cause=time ...i was hoping for it as the last encore ...i didn't leave disappointed though.
sarah harmer joined the band for the encore and they left her to do one of her own ...everyone joining her towards the end with drinks in hand.
tricky woo tonight ...matt good tomorrow ...kingston rocks. now let's get us an LVEC so we can have even MORE shows!!!

| another week ... |

another week goes by and i still haven't found anything to shoot, or a job.
i need one or the other soon or i'll go crazier than i am already.
highlights of the week for us were another frontenacs game on friday (we're bad luck ..they lost to belleville again) and joining nancy and her boyfriend for dinner / drinks / hockey game on saturday night ...she showed us her boobies (a plaster cast of her torso done for a charity art show, actually kinda neat) |

| shooting in shitty weather... |

it's been kinda rainy and gloomy for the last few days which has prevented me from getting out to shoot anything (and i'm really bored of shooting things in my home) but i'm hoping today to get out to take a few shots in amongst the somewhat maddening search for a job.
i do have to say that i blame all this current bad weather not on the changing of the season, but rather the return of bill hall to ckws tv as the weather and entertainment person. anyone who reads this is probably familiar with my bill hall fascination. hehe welcome back man, nice to see you on the teevee again.
and off i go... |
